 editation retreat combining traditional Buddhist practices with recovery a
 nd healing.  Primarily conducted in silence\, the retreat focuses on insi
 ght/mindfulness meditation\, with additional interactive exercises\, lectu
 res\, and meetings exploring ways that Buddhism and a recovery program can
  complement each other.\nThe emphasis will be on bringing mindfulness to a
 ll our activities\, whether in formal meditation\, movement\, speaking\, l
 istening\, or eating. Participants will practice Noble Silence outside of 
 the interactive exercises and recovery-style meetings.\nParticipants pract
 ice Noble Silence outside of the interactive exercises and 12-Step-style m
 eetings. All recovery paths are welcome\, whether Twelve Step\, Recovery D
 harma\, substance\, process\, or relationship-oriented. The intensive natu
 re of the retreat allows for profound personal openings\, insight\, and tr
 ansformation. The support of the community carries us through the sometime
 s challenging\, sometimes inspiring elements of this deep inner work.\nA m
 inimum of 30 days clean and sober is required for attendance.
