DESCRIPTION:You can attend in person or online:\n\nLoving kindness practice
 s are directed to our inner life and then shared with all beings. When ou
 r heart is broken it can feel impossible to find the love inside\, much le
 ss share it with anyone else. This daylong retreat will focus on building 
 inner resilience that supports living in a troubled world.\n​\n​We wil
 l practice mindfulness and loving kindness meditations. We will explore a
 ncient Buddhist teachings and modern healing practices to make a shift tow
 ard a more wholesome and constructive perspective. The Four Noble Truths a
 nd the Eightfold Path are our guides\, the path of love and compassion is 
 our support.\n\nThis class is for beginning and experienced practitioners
 \, those in the recovery community and those who are curious about medita
 tion and its benefits.\n\n​*Bring your lunch. Refreshments will be prov
